Use Twitter to confuse Iranian security forces

Thank you to www.peymanmeli.org for image.

If you are on Twitter, set your location to Tehran and your time zone to GMT +3.30.

Security forces in Iran are hunting for bloggers using location/timezone searches.

The more people at this location, the more of a logjam it creates for forces trying to shut down Iranians’ access to the internet.

Please pass on.

FYI :  Blogger M. Baseley says “Actually, changing the time zone has no effect, since the only person who sees the time zone is the account holder. Not sure what effect changing your location has, though.”
