If you are looking for a place for the family to learn about the history of Nevada as well as such a myriad of subjects as math, earth science, plant and animal life, check out the Lone Mountain Children’s Discovery Park. A 5-acre learning and play area, it is full of hands-on activities as well as a maze, climbing wall, walking paths, old-fashioned playground, outdoor amphitheater. and a shaded picnic area.
