Wine Tasting at SteakFREE, Restaurants | Sandra | March 9, 2007 at 14:30
If you are one of those following the calendar of wine-tastings, be sure to add to your list the free tasting offered at the trendy new restaurant in Henderson known simply as Steak. Steak is offering a tasting from 3p-5p Saturdays and the sign says “welcome.”
We were there for Les’ Wines & Vines, comfortably sequestered in the wine & spirits shop with cozy cafe-style tables, surrounded by polished wooden shelves brimming with high quality and delicious vintages.
There’s also a comfortable full-service bar and the food is great. We stayed on for a steak dinner with friends; my good intentions of leaving half of my petite filet mignon for the doggie bag did not materialize. I ate the whole thing – tender, juicy and perfectly grilled. The baked potato was just how I like it, sour creme and crusty skin. They serve their meat with a choice of four sauces and two sides. My choice of carbernet reduction and grilled aspargus was perfect. Service from 11 am til 1am. 702-56-STEAK (78325). Steak 76 W. Horizon Ridge (just at the exit on 515). www.steaklasvegas.com
